September 11, 2013 > This is located in Adnama Building, North Reclamation, Mandaue City, near Cebu Doctor’s University. I did not expect what I saw inside. The place is a fashion store with a resto or the other way around. Well, you judge! As I browse the array, I instantly fell in love with everything. The shirts with vintage prints (Madonna, Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee and more), the super cute accessories (bracelets, bangles, necklaces, earrings, etc.), beauty products (facial wash, sunblock, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), locally made chocolates in weird flavors (Dark Chocolate with Siling Labuyo, Dark Chocolate with Calamansi, Dark Chocolate with Green Mango & Sea Salt, Milk Chocolate, etc.). I’ve tasted all these chocos coz a friend of Miss Lia has forced us to taste it. Wahahahaha! Kidding! The chocos might sound weird but they are all delish! This was months before we went to Chillage.
Did a little research and find out that the locally made chocolates are called Theo & Philo Artisan Chocolates. They come with different flavors. You can check their website, Theo & Philo. (grabbed the photo from Abriella.)
Then there’s a small glass-room, floored with artificial grass. Inside you will find a swing made of wood and the rest of the things in it were awesome! I love what they did with the mirror; it was full of writings and symbols! On the walls were old pages of newspapers. There were board games, cassette tapes, geeky items, etc. One can just put a bed and ‘bwalaaaa’, it can become a bedroom; perfect and not the typical one. It’s like wonderland!
…and the food! You can choose from Chips & Dips, Soups & Salads, Sandwiches, Pasta, Desserts, etc. What we do with my friends when we explore new places and food, we would order different dishes so that we could get taste different foods on the menu. We had Chorizo & Cream Pasta, Taparoni and Spicy Spaghetti & Meatballs. We love garlic bread! It was all sumptuous! The sauce is unbelievably yummy! So yummy that we really did clean our plates. Hmmm.
And for dessert, we had warm brownie cups; Dark Fudge and Red Velvet! It completed our super late lunch! Wahahahaha. 🙂
I went home dreaming of the place! It was soooo ME! Well, I guess, whoever would visit the place will own it! It was a cozy, chill and very relaxing place. Am sure am going back! I still need to buy those cute accessories. 🙂
Thanks to Steve and Miss Lia for the great company! Had sooooo much fun! And am pretty sure you, guys, know why! Wahahaha! 🙂
